A plumbing chase in Plumbing Copilot refers to a space enclosed by walls on all sides. It may or may not be bounded by floor elements at its top or bottom.


1. Key Characteristics of Plumbing Chases as Routing Elements

  • Physical Boundaries:

    • The boundaries of a plumbing chase are defined by walls on all sides.

    • The presence of floor elements above or below the chase is optional and does not affect its designation as a plumbing chase.

    • The width of a plumbing chase is bigger than its thickness.
