Search Range
The Search Range defines the volume of the building that will be considered during the path planning and route generation process. It determines the area within which Plumbing Copilot will search for suitable routing paths between the start and end elements.
How It Works
The initial Search Range is automatically set when the user selects both the start and end elements.
It is defined as the minimum bounding box that contains both the start and end elements, ensuring that the route generation process takes into account all relevant areas between these two points.
This feature helps optimize the routing process by limiting the search to a specific area of the building, which improves performance.
