Users can click on any location within a terminal element. Plumbing Copilot will automatically identify and select the most relevant connector based on the following:
Single Connector: If the element has only one connector, the click location does not matter; Plumbing Copilot will select the sole connector.
Multiple Connectors: When multiple connectors on the same element share the same system type, the click location becomes significant.
In such cases, Plumbing Copilot will prioritize the connector closest to where the user clicked.
When a terminal element is adjacent to multiple routing elements, such as a sink bounded by walls on two sides (as shown in the images below), the click location helps Plumbing Copilot determine which routing element to prioritize.
Click Significance: The routing element closest to the click location will be prioritized for the path planning process.
Example Use Case: If a sink is bounded by two walls, clicking near one wall will instruct Plumbing Copilot to prioritize that wall for the route.
