Connectivity and Routing Issues
1. Routing process cannot start.
Cause: The conditions required to initiate the routing process are not met. This could be due to many reasons, and its usually followed by another message that explains the reason.
2. Routing process was interrupted.
Cause: An issue occurred during the routing process, such as encountering an obstacle or failing to find a viable path.
Solution: Check for any obstacles or restrictions that may be blocking the path and ensure all required fittings are available.
3. Navigation cannot start.
Cause: The system was unable to initiate the navigation step, possibly due to missing fittings or unsupported families.
Solution: Verify that the necessary fittings (elbows, junctions, transitions) are assigned and meet the required specifications.
4. Make sure you are working in a valid context.
Cause: The selected elements are not contained within or connected by valid routing elements, such as walls, floors, ceilings, or chases.
Solution: Ensure both start and end elements are properly hosted within recognized routing elements.
5. The start element does not have a free connector.
Cause: The selected start element is fully connected or does not have a free connector with the required system type, leaving no available connector for routing.
Solution:
Select a different start element or free up one of its connectors.
Make sure the required system type is available in one of the start element' connectors.
6. The End element does not have a free connector.
Cause: The selected end element has no available connectors for the route.
Solution:
Choose another end element with a free connector or disconnect an existing one.
Un check the Connect end to end option in the control panel
7. Neither the start nor the end elements have a free connector.
Cause: Both the start and end elements are fully connected, preventing any routing.
Solution:
Ensure at least one connector is available on both elements.
Ensure that both elements has a free connector with the required system type.
8. The start connector is either blocked or inaccessible.
Cause: The start connector is obstructed by an obstacle or its position does not allow routing.
Solution: Clear the obstruction or choose a different connector.
9. The end element/connector is blocked, inaccessible from the selected branch direction, or the end segment length is not enough for required fittings.
Causes:
The end element’s connector is either blocked or cannot be reached from the specified direction.
The end segment length is not enough to create a junction (the length should be more that what is typically needed)
Solution:
Adjust the connection direction or ensure there is enough space for fittings.
Adjust the end pipe length.
Clear the obstruction.
10. Start connector is blocked.
Cause: An obstacle is preventing access to the start connector.
Solution: Remove the obstacle.
11. End element/connector is blocked.
Cause: The end element’s connector is obstructed or inaccessible.
Solution: Clear any obstacles or change the routing configuration.
12. The end element is inaccessible. Make sure that the path between start and end elements is not blocked.
Cause: There is no clear path between the start and end elements due to obstacles or routing restrictions.
Solution: Identify and remove any blocking elements.
