Configuring routing options is the third step in the beginner workflow, following the identification of terminal elements and planning the routing path. At this step, the user will set up the parameters required for route generation. The process typically involves the following steps:
This includes:
: Specify the area to be considered during path planning.
: Set any restrictions or exclusions to be applied.
: Identify which routing elements (e.g., wall, plumbing chase) to include in the path if required.
Decide whether the generated route will include a .
If no slope is needed, set the slope value to 0.
If a slope is required, specify the desired slope value based on the system requirements.
Set the following parameters for the generated route:
: Specify minimum spacing requirements.
: Define how pipes connect to the end element.
: Select the type of plumbing system (e.g., drainage, domestic water).
: Choose the material or specification of the pipe.
: Determine the pipe diameter to be used.
Configure the following options if required:
P-Trap: Decide whether to include a P-trap in the route and select the appropriate P-trap family.
Elbow Conversion: Choose whether to convert 90-degree elbows to 45-degree elbows for horizontal and/or vertical sections.
If a slope value other than 0 is selected in Step 2, the will be enabled.
